Pro Mode Challenge
Deduce Cross offers two ways to play. In Regular Mode, the game checks your entries and only accepts correct answers, giving helpful feedback as you solve. In Pro Mode, there is no feedback—just like a classic newspaper crossword. You won't know if an answer is right until the puzzle is complete. You can switch between modes anytime from the Settings menu.
How To Play Deduce Cross?
In Deduce Cross, your goal is to fill the entire grid so that every row and every column forms a valid word. There are no black cells—every space is part of both a row and a column, so each letter you place must work in two directions at once. To begin, tap any cell to select its row and view the clue for that word. Use the clue to guide your guesses, and fill in letters while thinking about how they will also affect the intersecting column.
If you tap the same cell again, the selection switches to the column, and you’ll see the clue for that word instead. Move back and forth between rows and columns to use clues together and refine your answers. As you fill in more letters, the puzzle becomes easier to solve, since correct letters help unlock other words. Work step by step, using both clues and logic, until the entire grid is completed.
