At first it can feel complex, because each letter affects both a row and a column. But once you start solving, it becomes very logical and satisfying. You typically use clues, partial letters, or deduction rules to figure out the correct words.
The best way to learn is to start with small grids (3×3), where patterns are easier to see, and then work your way up to larger grids like 5×5, where the challenge—and the fun—increases.
How To Play Deduce Max?
In Deduce Max, your goal is to fill the grid so that every row and every column forms a valid word. Each letter you place affects both directions, so you’ll need to think carefully and use logic to find the correct combination. As you type, pay attention to the feedback from the game—it will guide you toward the right solution. You cannot overwrite Green cells, while typing simply skip that letter. If a letter is correct and in the right position, it will be marked green, and once it turns green, you can no longer change that cell.

The game also gives detailed hints to help you deduce the correct letters. If a letter exists in the column, the bottom-right side of the cell will be orange; if it exists in the row, the upper-left side will be orange. If the letter exists in both the row and the column but in different positions, the entire cell will be orange. Use these clues to adjust your guesses and narrow down possibilities. When you tap a cell, you select that row; tap the same cell again to switch and select the column. This interaction helps you focus your thinking and solve the puzzle step by step.
